The cost to administer an economic development project seeking assistance from the Virginia Jobs Investment Program is the administrative costs divided by the number of projects. In Fiscal Year 2012, the average cost was lower than in Fiscal Year 2011. For the past two fiscal years, we have only counted the number of projects that were run and the administrative costs for the Virginia Jobs Investment Program. If the average costs were determined the same way, it would have been higher.
