Data Source and Calculation
As of FY2011, the Virginia Board of Accountancy conducts an annual Customer Satisfaction Survey with its customers. The Customer Satisfaction rating is used as the primary measurement tool for Virginia Board of Accountancy management and staff. The average rating is calculated on the number of responses of satisfied or above divided by the total number of all responses.

2016 97.00 The 2016 VBOA Customer Service Survey was sent out to our licensees based on date of licensure. In 2016, we surveyed our newest licensees from July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2016, and then those who received their license between July 1, 1950 and June 30, 1970.

In 2017, we surveyed our newest licensees from July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2017, and then those who received their license between July 1, 1970 and June 30, 1985. The survey was also sent out to exam candidates between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2017.
