The Department maintains a community survey mechanism to determine the level of public satisfaction with the Virginia State Police. The survey is available on the State Police website, advertised on posters and business cards at each of our offices, and periodically posted on social media platforms. Survey questions are designed to solicit input from our customers (the public) on how we are performing and to gauge public perceptions about the agency.
