Community engagement/outreach events are defined as events open to the public, and allow for two way communication between department members and the public about agency operations, policy and/or community concerns. Sworn employees are required to periodically participate in community outreach events. The department will document each community outreach event. The number of community outreach events attended by sworn personnel will be tallied across the entire agency.
