Operating Budget Addenda (in order of greatest impact)
Expands the use of this funding to improve general agency operations through the modernization of administrative systems and software and not be limited to only implementing systems to respond to future emergencies. This is a language only amendement in central appropriations.
Exempts the Office of Emergency Medical Services from making a required transfer of $12.5 million to the general fund in 2024 as required in Part 3 of Chapter 1, 2023 Acts of Assembly, Special Session I. An additional decision package exempts the transfer in 2025 as well. The transfer will resume in 2026 and beyond.
